Numero Uno son Take One Hippiade Champion again13 september 2008Last year the Numero Uno x Karandasj
gelding Romantovich Take One won the class Z Hippiade championship. Last
weekend, the couple Wim Derks and Take One was again honoured as Dutch
Champion, but now of the class ZZ. The careful 8-year-old Numero x Karandasj gelding ridden by the 17 year-old
rider Wim Derks from Zeeland, didn’t permitted a penalty point during this
exciting class ZZ final. The couple withstood the enormous pressure to
remain clear round in the final also. Last year the combination was also
crowned Champion of the Province Brabant and Hippiade Champion in the Z
class. This year, they jumped at a higher level and honoured again as Dutch
Champion, but now in the Class ZZ. The ambitious Wim Derks describes his
Numero Uno gelding as very careful, with a great mind and a lot of power.
Coming months the ‘golden’ combination will gain a lot of experience by
hard training and competing a lot of shows. Future seems good for this
combination, who gained already a lot of victories. Because of his last year results, Romantovich Take One breeders, Family
de Waal Malefijn from Bennekom, honoured already during the annual Wiemselbach
stallion show. Naturally our congratulations for rider Wim Derks and the owners of
the Numero Uno son Romantovich Take One, Family Derks and Mr. van Tuyl,
